Promax UK Conference, 2015
With the PromaxBDA UK conference now only a week away, we're really looking forward to the upcoming rich schedule of Keynotes, inspiring speakers, roundtable discussions and (of course) the awards over the duration of the 2-day event at the BFI on London's South Bank. We have good reason to be particularly excited this year - a little more about that to follow!
Firstly, our Alibi brand refresh has been nominated for a PromaxBDA UK Award in two categories: Best On-Air Ident Campaign and Best Channel Identity. PromaxBDA UK is a key event for British creative television marketing, promotion, branding and design industry professionals, and so it's a privilege to have our hard work and creativity recognised in this way.
Second, our Studio Film 1150 Canyon Road was shortlisted to be part of the PromaxBDA Short Film Festival - one of only seven to make the cut! If you're at the conference, you can catch a screening of it along with the other nominations for the duration of the event, with the winner announced at 4pm on Friday 30th October.
And last but not least, our very own founder and creative director, Mike Moloney, will be taking part in a roundtable discussion with several other leading industry peers, chaired by Eleisha Gorman of BBC Worldwide. The topic will be 'How to Talk to Designers', where we will dive into the mysterious minds of designers and creatives. We'll hear what makes a great client relationship work, gain an insight into the design process and hear how better collaboration leads to better results for all. Sound interesting? If you're at the conference you can catch the session at 2pm on Friday 30th October in the BFI Greenroom.
Wish us luck, and we'll look forward to seeing you there!
