With its rich heritage, exhilarating racing and unparalleled sense of style, Royal Ascot is one of the most anticipated dates in the sporting calendar. Working with ITV Creative, we were commissioned to create an exciting new promo to highlight their coverage of the event.
The thrill of the day is found on both the race track and the sophistication of the crowds in their stunning morning suits, elegant dresses and iconic hats. Reflecting this distinction was integral in representing the vibrant diversity found during a day at the iconic racecourse.
Using frame by frame animation, we devised a visual language to captures the fizzing movement and sophisticated fashion of the crowds before shifting to a more abstract and dynamic style to reflect the pure exhilaration of the chase.
