Art&Graft has been building motion systems for global brands since long before the industry had a name for it. The challenge back then was the same as it is now: how do you scale a brand without diluting it? How do you give teams the freedom to create, while keeping the work unmistakably cohesive?
We’ve spent years figuring out how to prevent that drift, and the answer is rarely generic. The best systems are built from scratch, around the specific needs of each brand and the people who bring it to life.
Brands today need more content, in more formats, across more regions and languages than ever before. The challenge isn’t simply producing more; it’s doing so without losing consistency, quality, or control.
The Art&Graft team design motion-first brand toolkits that allow brands to scale confidently. Our systems empower teams to move faster, create more, and stay unmistakably on-brand across every touchpoint.
We create bespoke motion design systems that combine creative ambition with real-world usability. After carefully crafting a distinctive visual and motion language, we build scalable toolkits that translate brand identity into flexible, modular systems.
These toolkits define the fundamentals of motion branding – timing, behaviour, transitions, and personality – ensuring motion is not an afterthought, but a foundational brand layer.
Built within adaptable frameworks, our systems automate production while retaining creative intent. Colour palettes, typography, aspect ratios, formats and outputs flex effortlessly, enabling teams to create twice the output with the same time and resources, and without sacrificing craft or quality.
A strong toolkit reduces friction across teams, speeding up production and removing bottlenecks without lowering creative standards. It gives teams guardrails they trust, empowering designers, marketers and brand managers to work confidently without constant approvals.
Our toolkits are designed to be used by everyone, for teams with creative skills at any level. External partners can plug in quickly to deliver work that feels immediately on brand, allowing global teams to scale output smoothly and autonomously.
Motion toolkits allow brands to scale globally with consistency, and without diluting their identity. They enable regional teams to create locally relevant work while maintaining cohesion across markets, platforms and moments.
The worldwide launch of Gemini 3 saw the distribution of hundreds of assets across Google’s brand ecosystem through multiple teams and touch points. Style guides and templates provided teams with clear design discipline, which were delivered alongside toolkits that provided genuine flexibility through controls, panels and options.
Our toolkit for The O2 Arena caters to a range of audiences attending a diverse mix of events, as well as adapting seamlessly across multiple aspect ratios. A suite of custom 3D inflatables combine with 2D assets and are automated in Cavalry for quick and easy updates.
Art&Graft’s promo design toolkit for Ring supported a complex cross-EMEA campaign spanning multiple languages, product sets and regional variations. What could have been a fragmented rollout became a highly efficient, intuitive system, allowing anyone to adapt assets instantly while preserving brand consistency across every touchpoint.
As we specialise in designing well-crafted and flexible motion toolkits for our partners, we decided to apply the same expertise to the A&G brand.
Built in Cavalry, we constructed a template that anyone in the studio can use for our social posts: a quick and adaptable toolkit that works beautifully.
Our heritage work was built on flexible motion systems for global brands including Boomerang (US / Global) Majid (Middle East), CCTV (China), and Pogo (India).
From hundreds of interchangeable stickers underpinned by rigorous grid systems, to animated isometric worlds with adaptable colour palettes, our toolkits have reached audiences of over a billion viewers and remained in use for up to eight years.
